Complementing the PowerPack: Basler Microscopy pulse 3.3 MP
Basler received much positive feedback for Basler´s PowerPack for Microscopy and its successful product launch. The PowerPack offers high quality at a very good price. Most customers were convinced by the impressive color reproduction and speed of the cameras, but also by the ease of use of the Basler Microscopy Software.
Now, Basler is complementing Basler´s PowerPack series with the Microscopy pulse 3.3 MP camera.
The Microscopy pulse 3.3 MP not only offers an impressive image quality but also an attractive sensor format. With its 4:3 sensor format, the pulse 3.3 MP fits perfectly to the image circle of your microscope. With its CMOS sensor by Aptina, this pulse model reaches up to 20 frames per second and complements the Microscopy ace and pulse camera models already available.
In addition, Basler released an updated Basler Microscopy Software. The new version offers image adjustment sliders on the top level of the user interface and shows the speed of the camera measured in frames per second (framerate). The framerate speedometer shows how user settings affect the camera’s speed and helps users to find optimum settings for camera speed and real time viewing. Due to optimized camera pre-settings, additional improvements have been made to white balance and color fidelity.
