GigE Interface Cards from Basler AG

For flexible multi-camera setups

Expand your GigE Vision applications with 1, 5 and 10GigE interface cards: Configure multi-camera systems with up to four cameras at full bandwidth and benefit from single-cable solutions for data transfer and power supply via the Power over Ethernet+ (PoE+) function.

Our GigE interface cards

For different vision requirements, we offer GigE Network Interface Cards (NICs) with different ranges of functions. Find the right solution for your individual vision system.

GigE NICs: A Quick Look

  • Large selection: Numerous industrial-grade NICs for receiving image data and operating multiple cameras on a single PC
  • Data bandwidth: 1, 5 or 10 Gbit/s
  • Number of ports: one port, two ports, or four ports for single- or multi-camera systems
  • With or without PoE+ function
  • High performance and reliability: Performance optimizations via the pylon software and Basler GigE Performance Driver

Advantages of GigE NICs with PoE+ function

  • One-cable solution: Data and power transmission via one cable, saving time and cabling effort during installation
  • Stable & safe power supply: PoE+ designed for use in networks to ensure continuous and uninterrupted performance of the devices
  • Cost effectiveness: Fewer cables and power supplies, resulting in lower costs and less maintenance
  • Increased flexibility: Integrate industrial cameras in places that were previously inaccessible due to a lack of power sources

Specifications of the PoE+ function

  • Maximum PoE output power of 30W per port
  • Maximum PoE performance via the PCIe slot, an additional external power source can be connected if the PCIe power supply is insufficient
  • Separate status LED for clear identification of which channel(s) are supplying PoE power
