Optimize your USB 3.0 camera setup with the new Bandwidth Manager.
The new version (4.1) of the pylon 4 Camera Software Suite from Basler is now available!
The highlight of this version is the new USB Bandwidth Manager integrated in the pylon Viewer. This simple tool enables you to check whether your USB 3.0 camera reliably delivers all images to your application (such as the pylon Viewer) with the specified bandwidth settings. The camera’s bandwidth usage can be adapted until all USB 3.0 cameras connected to the PC transmit their images without errors.
The pylon Viewer also now includes a message log window which records all relevant events, warnings and errors which can occur during camera operation. This makes the message log an ideal tool for monitoring your camera setup.
Benefit from the following additional new pylon features:
- A new version of the Basler GigE Vision Performance driver, which now also supports the Intel I210 chip set family.
- The camera can now also be closed again in the pylon Viewer.
- The pylon Viewer now also shows errors in the status bar of the live view window.
- New programming examples available.
- A migration mode implemented for re-use of existing program code for the new USB 3.0 Vision Camera function names (SFNC 2).
