The new pylon 5 Release – now with GenTL Producer
Basler new pylon 5 release (version 5.0.11) is now available to download from Balser website. In addition to several bug fixes and small improvements, this release offers the following highlights:
GenICam GenTL Producer for Basler GigE Vision and USB3 Vision cameras
The GenTL Producer enables you to operate your Basler cameras with third-party software libraries that support the GenTL standard. Thanks to Basler’s longstanding experience and industry-leading expertise in the development of high-performance kernel drivers, this enables a stable, reliable and error-free image transfer along with low CPU load.
Bandwidth Manager now also for GigE cameras
With this easy-to-use tool, the load from image data transfer can be calibrated for each connected Basler GigE or USB 3.0 camera so that all cameras can transmit their image data without errors using the maximum bandwidth available.
