The Medium MBACK+ is a powerful backlight-type illuminator that provides uniform, diffused lighting for a wide range of machine vision applications. High-power LEDs generate an intense light flux that enables cameras to clearly distinguish object shapes.
The illuminator operates in both continuous and strobe modes, with very fast pulse rise and fall times (15 µs and 10 µs). It ensures uniform illumination across the entire surface, including edges. The power connector can be mounted on any side of the housing for flexible integration. Two LEDs near the connector indicate power status and whether strobe mode is active.
The Medium MBACK+ is well suited for quality control tasks such as detection, edge defect inspection, and material loss verification.
