Medium Flat MFDOME+ is a powerful illuminator providing diffused light and is well suited for a wide range of machine vision applications. It is designed for tasks such as detecting small components in containers, illuminating thermoformed products, and enhancing contrast between parts made of different materials.

In both continuous and stroboscopic modes, the MFDOME+ features short rise and fall times of 25 µs and 15 µs respectively.

The OVERDRIVE version is as easy to use as the STANDARD version but includes additional electronics enabling overdriving the illuminator with higher voltage. This version is intended for specialists who want to precisely adjust the light output to achieve reliable results.

Thanks to narrow edges, uniform illumination of the entire surface is possible. The MFDOME+ includes an opening for a camera lens, and the connector can be placed on any side of the unit, allowing installation on various types of conveyor systems. Two LEDs near the connector indicate power status and whether strobe mode is active.

The Medium Flat MFDOME+ is available in different wavelengths and sizes, with customization options available upon request if standard models do not meet application requirements.

Excluding the OVERDRIVE version, the MFDOME+ is also available in three variants:

STANDARD (basic version)
EXPERT (without built-in current driver, allowing use of external control; supports overdrive in strobe mode)
TRINITI (Industry 4.0 version with network connectivity for control, data exchange, and diagnostics; compatible with GigE Vision V2.0, GenICam, UDP/TCP; requires Triniti controller)
