Hand Held Portables
Cameras from the Hand Held Portables series are portable and do not require connection to a PC. They have an internal SDRAM memory for fast recording, built-in SSDs for storing images and the possibility of live view. In addition, they are equipped with a large touch screen and strong light source to prevent image blur at short exposure times. Their additional advantage is the ability to connect the camera with a PC using the Gigabit Ethernet interface in the same way as PC Connected cameras.

PC Connected
MegaSpeed cameras from the PC Connected series have an internal SDRAM memory for quickly saving images. They send a live view with a speed of 30 frames per second to a PC, while the image with a high number of frames per second is saved in the internal SDRAM memory in a circular buffer for later download. Cameras of this type may be slightly cheaper than the counterparts from the "Hand Held" series, however, they are not so mobile and require a PC connection with a Gigabit Ethernet cable.
