The Gecko housing provides IP66 protection for compact cameras up to 39 x 53mm. It is currently used for the Flir ax5 and VC4XXX cameras from Vision Components'.

Features of the Gecko housing:

• Allows mounting of slightly larger cameras than in the Salamander housing, e.g. cameras of the Ax5 series from Flir and VC4XXX from Vision Components'.
• The external dimensions of the housing are the same as the dimensions of the Salamander housing.
• Aluminum extruded profile.
• Small cross-sectional dimensions enclosures for easy integration with ready machines.
• Flexible camera positioning.
• Dovetail profiles allow solid mounting of enclosures on all four sides along the entire profile. The mounts are able to withstand loads up to 3000N. Easy adjustment of the working distance.
• Compatible with a wide range of accessories: variety of attachments, water cooling, heating plate, wind screen, pneumatic shutter, positioning hoops and more.
• High chemical resistance thanks to NBR, TPE and Viton sealing materials.
• Vibration resistant and passive camera cooling mount, thanks to the AutoVimation patented Quick-Lock and Heat-Guide camera mounting systems (part of the delivery).
• For cameras up to 39 x 53mm.
• Available with germanium glass for thermal cameras.
