Tunnel illuminators, similarly to "dome" illuminators, allow to avoid reflections coming from shiny objects. The best lighting conditions are obtained by bringing the illuminator closer to the object at a minimum distance. In demanding applications, in order to avoid the shadow resulting from the presence of the hole for the lens, a coaxial type illuminator can be used together with the tunnel illuminator. The illuminator can optionally be equipped with fixings.
