Large-size gauging
AVICON’s expertise on camera based vision solutions allowed to develop the range of large scale gauging systems for dimensioning of large objects.
The system combines many vision techniques to perform precise measurements of details. Imaging uses linescan cameras with telecentric lenses and triangulation heads (laser profilometers). For increased accuracy, the inspection application uses the readings of all vision heads simultaneously.
System is able to measure:
- holes – presence, position, dimensions,
- idents, chamfers and tabs of any size,
- shape of milled grooves
- flatness parameters
Accuracy can reach up to 0.01 mm in inline and offline versions of system. The system gives instant 2D/3D inspection results based on a prepared CAD model file.
