Weld seam inspection

AVICON offers a turnkey solution for inspecting a welding gap directly before the welding arc spot. The welding gap is a crucial parameter for assuring the constant quality of seam in a multitude of metal-based prefabricates, including pipes, various shaped profiles, and special elements. AVICON’s proprietary optical technology assures complete separation from excess glow light of arc and measures width of gap and distance to electrode in continuous real-time mode. In the case of an overrun of process parameters, proper alarms are generated.

The thermovision system of quality control (continuity) of the weld guarantees the correct execution of the weld, and thus eliminates the need for further manual quality control of the product.
